Skandham-5. Chapter-2. Slokam-3.

Understanding King Agnidhra's desire, the first and most powerful created
being of this universe, Lord Brahma, selected the best of the dancing girls in his
assembly, whose name was Purvacitti, and sent her to the King.

In this Slokam, the words bhagavan Adi-purushah are significant. Bhagavan
Adi-purushah is Lord Krishna. Govindam Adi-purushah tam aham bhajami **. Lord
Krishna is the original person. In Bhagavadgeeta, He is also addressed by Arjuna
as purusham adyam, the original person, and He is called Bhagavan. In this
slokam, however, we see that Lord Brahma is described as bhagavan Adi-purushah.
The reason he is called bhagavan is that he fully represents the Supreme
Personality of Godhead and is the first-born creature in this universe. Lord
Brahma could understand Maharaja Agnidhra's desire because he is as
powerful as Lord Vishnu. As Lord Vishnu, situated as Paramatma, can
understand the desire of the living entity, so Lord Brahma can also understand
the living entity's desire, for Vishnu, as a via medium, informs him. As stated in
Srimad Bhagavatam (1.1.1), tene brahma hrda ya adi-kavaye: Lord Vishnu
informs Lord Brahma of everything from within his heart. Because Maharaja
Agnidhra specifically worshiped Lord Brahma, Lord Brahma was pleased, and
he sent Purvacitti, the Apsara, to satisfy him.

Chapter-3: Kapila’s Instructions to Devahuti - 7. The reason is that in our meditations we require a total absorption of ourselves in God. It is not enough if only our intellect is illumined by the clarity of perception of the omnipotence of God; it is also necessary that other faculties in us, such as feeling and aesthetic sense, should also be satisfied. Usually, the mind of man cannot conceive such a completeness of God. Can God give us everything? It is said that He can. But our frailty does not feel itself competent to accept this possibility of everything being possible for God at all times, because we do not believe that He is a mother. We always believe that He is a judge whose dispensation can be for or against. But a mother’s judgment is not against, it is always for. In a similar manner, in the Bhagavadgita and also in the Srimad Bhagavata, Bhagavan says, “Whoever loves Me, I shall love him abundantly.” Many characteristics of God are involved in this concept.
